Hand Building Pottery Workshop

Saturdays: May 4th, 11th, 25th, June 1st, 8th. (May 18th is skipped for graduation weekend)

Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Ages 16 and up

CLASS COST: $150

In this class we’ll learn how to create coil, pinch, and slab-formed vessels and sculptures while working with mid fire clay (which you will be learning about!) The firing process will include bisque firing and a glaze firing. In order to guarantee a smooth-flowing series of projects, we will work on a variety of large and small forms through the five weeks. No previous experience is required, beginners are very welcome! If you do have experience in hand-building, this is your chance to brush off the rust, get back in the saddle and continue your work with this rewarding medium!
